Founded by the French Red Cross and the Kenya Red Cross Society in 2023, the Women Social Entrepreneurship Institute (WSEI) is an innovative program that supports women entrepreneurs in the Coastal region of Kenya transitioning to the formal economy with stronger businesses.
21 is the Social Innovation Accelerator of the French Red Cross. 21 hosts a set of programs to support projects with a positive social impact, a coworking space and a digital studio.
In 2019, the French Red Cross built entrepreneurial support programs that work with external stakeholders (NGOs, social enterprises, private companies, etc.) in the development of joint social innovation projects that fit with the needs and strategy of the organisation.
